HD link - TurboGrafx

You know the TurboGrafx is vastly underrated. Show it off and prove to your buddies that you were in TurboGrafx before it became a retro fad. Some TurboGrafx consoles came with ancient R/F connectivity that only worked with your grandpa’s fat tube television, but the Pound HD Link Cable for the TurboGrafx comes with everything you need to start playing on your modern 4k or HD TV.

UPSCALES TO 720P AND 4:3

Many games on the TurboGrafx-16 displayed in 240p; a format not accepted by HDMI standards. We force the resolution to 720p to ensure maximum compatibility but keep the system’s native 4:3 aspect ratio!

RGB PICTURE QUALITY

We ensure maximum compatibility by using the TurboGrafx-16’s native RGB signal to display all games! This means better color reproduction and sharpness than traditional AV cables.

faq

Do we sell outside of the US?
Yes! We fulfill to over 80 countries world wide! If your country doesn’t show as available, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Why is the resolution locked at 720p?
We try to maximize compatibility with modern day TVs and 240p (the resolution that the TurboGrafx outputs) is not technically a part of the HDMI standard. This means that some TV manufacturers may not support 240p games or below.

What is the Micro USB cable for?
Some TurboGrafx systems may not provide adequate power from the system itself. On those systems, you can provide power via micro USB. Even if your system can provide adequate power to produce an image, we highly recommend using the provided power cable to supplement the system to reduce stress on the system’s internal power supply. The Genesis is almost 30 years old now!

What’s in the box?
The HD link cables come with the HD LINK unit, a TurboGrafx Adapter cable, a PC Engine Adapter cable, an HDMI cable, and a Micro USB cable for power.
